I own a 1975 XLCH. the motor and trans have been completely rebuilt,new chain ,new sprockets, battery, voltage regulator, clutch cable,and several other new things.I have approx. $4600 invested.The value of the bike in my mind is about $3200.

I also have '73 Iron Head XLCH. They were poorly designed. It's the first year of the 1000cc displacement and the lower end was NOT able to handle the extra torque. Once the lower goes, it's junk. I'd sell mine for $2,500 if someone wanted it. That would still leave five H-Ds in the stable................Interested?

Seriously, bikes over 10-years old are valued by condition. There is no way to put a value on it without seeing it and determining what it needs to be in great condition and then comparing what similar bikes are bringing in great condition.

I agree with the other answers of around $3,200 to maybe $4,000 tops, as you must remember yours is an AMF model and that is sure not a selling point.
