I'll start a list. Please add to and comment on this list.

1) Listen better, don't just problem-solve when their lady is trying to vent and be understood.
2) Be cleaner, neater, and more organized. Don't leave piles of clothes, dishes, etc...even if they plan on cleaning them up later themselves.
3) Don't let the romance drop off after 6 - 18 months. Remind your lady how special she is regularly.
4) Be aware of how going out with their friends (especially to party) is percieved by their lady.
5) Try not to appear unselfish.
6) Don't get so whiney and helpless when sick.
7) Don't spend all your time in front of the TV/computer/video game console.
8) Don't forget important dates.
9) Fix what you have the energy and money to fix around the house, with minimal procrastination.
10) Don't be possessive and/or leer at other women.
11) Go to the doctor when you should.
12) Don't get into a groove sexually. Think of your lady's favorite position as much as yours.
13) Don't fart, etc..

Well that sounds like the perfect man to me.... but the thing is that you dont have to be perfect... my fiance and I are getting married June 23, 2007 and have lived together for 3 years... I know there are some things he should work on... but to be honest whatever woman that loves you will love you and your imperfections..... my fiance kills me when he leaves his socks on the floor.... but as much as it kills me it makes me laugh at the same time too... keep all these things in mind but women dont like perfect guys... they usually Bi*ch just because they want to b*tch about something/anything..... lol.... see if you do all of these things..... we will still find something else to b*tch about.... I am just telling the honest truth.. we want a guy thats fun not boring and does everything right.... we dont want a ginnea pig we want a man....
Hope that was good enough advice..... thats just my opinion....

If there are these many problems on the list already, I'd say that some counseling might not be a bad idea at this point.

All relationships require plenty of work, by both parties. No one is perfect for anyone else, but if they're willing to try, then half the battle is won.

This list should be directed to attention of many ladies as well .... we are just as guilty if not more so on some of the points. Not always "his" fault ... often times yes ... but not always. Was this your New Years Resolution list ......

Okay, I'm going to say that I think Men should not take it personally when we are "complaining." We just need to let it out. It's not Your fault and You can't fix it for Us. We love you and really like it when you DON'T try to solve it for us or take it personally. Your opinions are really valuable when we need it but at certain times we just need to let out all the little inequaities that we experience through out the day. Thanks!

Try not to worry so much about lists. Just respect your lady and talk to her. Never keep things bottled up. Let her know how your feeling and work to compromise on situations.

Good list, farting doesn't bother me though.

I think a good rule for anyone in a relationship is to always think about your partner before doing something: How do you think this action would make them feel and how would you feel if they were doing it?

Don't turn your life into a list of things to do and not do.
and
Be yourself.
