My 7 month old will not eat baby food grean beans or peas. I have given her some of ours that we eat and she gobbles them up. I just make sure they are really soggy and in smaller pieces especially the green beans so she does not gag on them.

You shouldn't worry - every child is different, and just because she won't eat her greens now doesn't mean she never will. Both of my boys hated peaches and peas when they were infants, but now that they are grown and can eat the real thing they love the peaches, but not the peas!
Personally, I wouldn't force the green veggies. Why make feeding a miserable experience for you and her? As long as you give her variety, she will be just fine!
(An idea - maybe try making your own green beans or peas in a blender/food processor. The canned stuff is pretty yucky, and maybe homemade will have a better flavor? If you're really willing, it's worth a try).
You're doing great - good luck!!!

I wouldn't worry about the green vegitables so much. Try giving her carrots and corn and things like that. if it worries you alot then I would give her peas mixed with bananas and just try to slip it by her. If she eats the small portion mixed with the bananas then you can gradually mix more in there until she developes a taste for it.
Whatever you do DO NOT force feed it to her, even at that small of an age it will tramatize her and she will never like them. Even doctors say just keep the food there and don't force it, She may aquire the taste for it and she may not but at least she won't hate it out of spite.
I have the same problem with meat with my kids, they don't like meat but I will let them leave it on their plates and if they eat it great then they are rewarded by praise, if they don't eat it then it was worth a shot.
I mix hot dog pieces in with mac n cheeze and my son eats around it but my daughter has started eating it sometimes when mixed with certain things and that's all I can ask for.
The veggies will come when the body needs it but if you are very concerend about it then try vitamins instead untill she is old enough that she begins to eat them.
My kids are healthy and they get all the vitamins they need with chewables so I don't worry about their meat intake so much.
It's very normal that babies don't like greens, My kids hated them and now they can't get enough peas and green beans.

We had the same problem. What we did was puree them in a blender. Now, I realize that you might feel that is out of the solid food category, but are mashed potatoes solid? We took advantage of the fact that she had no idea what we mixed up and would sweeten the pot of say blender-ed broccoli with stuff like apple juice or some other thing she wanted all the time. At eight years of age I now have a daughter who (when asked what her favourite food is) actually says 'BROCCOLI!' with stern conviction. Her mother has to make broccoli for her EVERY DAY!! We call her the broccoli queen.

I'd say move on...My 14mth old has refused fruits and sweet veggies (opposite of yours) since introducing solids. I mean Fruit juice everything...but what I did notice is the actually real fruit he liked, just not the baby food kind or juice or sweetened kinds but just basic REAL fruit. So for now I'd skip'em. My 3 yr old won't eat any veggie but Broccoli which is also fine with me and him. I don't think you should force anything on a kid...especially not food at 7mths. Good luck!

Just include them on her plate, and do not push the issue. Sometimes you have to offer the same food fifteen to twenty times before a child will try it.She is only seven months perhaps when she starts finger foods she will like canned green beans that she can feed herself. Don't worry and don't force the issue you do not want to turn it into a battle of wills.

My daughter, who is now 10 months, hated any vegetable especially green veggies with the #1 foods. We just didn't feed them too her because she would spit them out. She is now on #3 foods and absolutely loves veggies especially green beans. I wouldn't worry too much, she may eventually begin to like them, just as my daughter did.

just keep trying, she may hate them now, but give it a month and she might change her mind! Also, try the mixed vegies, or the vegie and meat blends. She'll probably like that better. When you get to stage 2 theres a better variety of flavors.

Try mixing the green veggies with something else... either other veggies, or tomato sauce and pasta. Continue trying to introduce all different veggies... just disguise it until she gets used to other flavours.

try mixing it with a "dinner" she really likes. i did that with my daughter, and she ended up like the two mixed together. good luck for you. i hope that helps. if it doesn't just keep feeding her carrots, sweet tatoes ans squash. she'll be fine. she's not going to turn orange.
