If it is through your ISP, you will lose it when you switch ISP's. That's why I got a yahoo account, so I can use it from anywhere.

Normally if you change your ISP you will lose the email address. This is one of the small things they hope you would stay with them to keep. The only definite way to check would be to as your ISP.
It may be possible to keep your email by setting up a pay as you go dial up internet account, just dial in every month or two for a few seconds to keep the account active.

It is quite possible. I have switched to BB but still keep two dial-up email addresses. Big But you will have to use the service once every 90days or they cut U off.Too lazy to change all my accounts. Use the settings in outlook express tools menu for your accounts. Best to go for a Hotmail, Yahoo or a Google mail account.

I hope you mean internet service providers, not internet servers. Yes, if you change ISP's you will change your email address.

Only if you use an email account from the internet provider. If you use an independent email like Yahoo, Hotmail, etc., you won't lose it.

I wanted to know this one too so I checked yours out. Thanks for saving me points! LOL! Like it really matters....can't "spend" them or anything. Not really sure what they are all about. Anyways, I can't stand verizon! They tick me off, so I'm switching too.
