If youre talking about sexual atraction its all about being a good breeder. Men large Jaw bone( growing out a jaw reduces Immune system so if u can grow a square jaw you have a good immune system. Women long legs large assets ablity to go through pregency and feed children in times of starvation. Both Symetrical features that are close to the average deminsions. I.E eyes that are about the average size of the population etc.

I think to be cute, if it's a person, baby animal, etc., the main criteria is harmlessness, vulnerabiliy and size, to a degree. For an object to be cute, it's really more a matter of personal taste but generally the object is small or dainty, possibly associated with babies, innocence and vulnerabilty. Cuteness seems to imply safety and a need for protection.
