Pick up a hobby. You could learn to needlepoint or make a blanket, make something for the baby's room. Got out to lunch with family or friends. You could also read or do something to spoil yourself. I would take advantage of the quiet time that you currently have because you won't be alone for long.

I'm surprised that you ask this question. If you had no child then you'd indeed be bored to death. But you have a child. He'd probably be keeping you busy unless he is grown up. It seems you do have a computer since you did write a message. You can do so many things on the computer like answer other people's questions on this forum. Or read the best feeding forums to see how new mothers coping up with breast feeding the baby and so on. You can keep yourself busy reading what people are saying on the forums commenting on the blogs. Check on blogger.com. There are blogs of note. All you can do is to sign up and you are in business. I hope I've helped. If you need further help send me a message any time.

Go to the library and get a new book. Maybe you can start a blog about your adventures in parenting (Blogger.com is a great place, and it's free). Have you tried Sudoku, that crazy little game that looks like a crossword puzzle? It is easy to learn, and lots of fun. Maybe you could play a video game? Rent a good movie. Go hang out at the mall and eat big, soft pretzels and frozen grape juice. Maybe you could write a letter to that long lost relative that you've lost contact with.

Learn to crochet. It's very simple and you can make stuff for the baby. It's a very inexpensive hobby (you can get free patterns on-line) and fun. You could start out making a baby blanket. Then maybe move to booties, hats or even little cuddle coats.

Good luck with whatever hobby you choose AND the new little one! :)

Try to pick up knitting or something crafty. Make some clothes or cute picture frames for your new baby. Rough the cold once a week and go see a movie or go to the library.

Wish I was that motivated to clean house. This is my 5th child plus I have have 4 step children so I'm always busy. Find some kind of hobby. Like sewing, or something that you can do and have something to show for it when your done. I make jewelry and do some sewing. And I play video games with the kids. :)

You could explore the open courseware that a lot of universities offer if you want to learn something new, or you could take up a hobby.
