If you are referring to the character of Captain Kirk in the Star Trek universe, the answer would be yes. The one who Boldly went where no earth person had gone before was Captain Janeway and the crew of Voyager into the Delta Quadrant.

Since Captain Kirk was the Best Spaceship Captain in History... I doubt it. Although I think Captain Janaway tried to measure up too. The 40th year of Star Trek was last year in October. Maybe in the next 40 years we will see another Captain as good as Kirk, but I doubt it. Can you tell I am a fan? :)
