Peugeots are an enigma -- year after year they churn out some of the worst vehicles on the planet and yet there are always thousands of lemmings lining up to pay hard earned money for them. The lowest Chevrolet Cobalt built is ten times more dependable and cost a fraction of what a Peugeot does. The damn things spend more time in repair shops than they do on the road and self destruct while seemingly sitting in the drive overnight. Every vehicle has it's weaknesses but for God's sake, what other car not built in a communist country has so many thing go wrong so often? They even tried selling those crap boxes here in the U.S. for a few years. Peugeot suffered the equivalent of being tarred and feathered then run out of the country. The world may dismiss north American cars as cheap and unspired but they all have to run long and hard to keep up with our driving habits and lifestyles. We were in no mood for a car that left it's passengers stranded on the roadside with abandon. There is no evidence that Peugeots have change one bit since they died over here.
And now...I'm off my soapbox.

i love the cars ! i had an audi tt and changed it for a peugeot 207,mind you i had wrapped the audi round a tree but really the peugeot is a great car !

french cars are the worst! worst performance n worse write ups ever. I cant stress enough how german cars are better, in every study they always win hands down. French cars peugeout, renault, citreon, they mostly have bad write ups n put it against other cars, they'll be bottom of the pile. I met a renault salesman who once said "ifeel bad for the person actually buying these cars" right after he sold one to ma pal!!!lol

swapped my 206 for a 207, don't think it's as pretty as the 206. but it's a brilliant drive :-) very speedy too!

dont do it they are under powered...and there are a million better cars out there
