I used to take part in their activities but would he find it weird if I post something?

It depends on what your relationship was years ago? If it was romantic and ended bad, he may.
My suggestion would be to drop him a note in your post such as....
"Wow its been awhile. Its nice to see an old friend" and then follow it with whatever your posting is in regards to. I love hearing from old friends and seeing what there up to and he may too. Good luck with your blast from the past.

It depends on what you write. You could just post a quick note to say hi, haven't seen you in years, how are you? And then just wait to see if he posts anything back to you.

I would do it but would not wear my feelings on my sleeve. people change from day to day and year to year. going into a new year you never know what someone's new year changes or hopes will be. His mood at the moment he see's it will play and important role. Just be ready for whatever and Good Luck!

it depends on what ur relationship w/him was when u knew him. if u just knew of him or met him a few times then hed think its weird but if u were really good friends then go for it

if you were some kind of syco stalker friend I would say don't.
But if you were normal friends who just lost contact I would like to hear from an old friend
