I'm thinking of buying one, but on the apple website it doesnt say whether or not you can use it with windows milenium. If anyone knows for certain that would be a big help. i dont want to end up buying something i cant even use.

Unfortuantely no, the itunes version 7, needed for the 2nd gen shuffle does not support Windows ME
Get an upgrade to XP or do a search on Yahoo for alternative software

no because itunes is not compatable with windows milienium..
FYI:windows mulienium is a bad operating system with a lot of bugs in it..i suggest you update even if just to windows 2000..yes windows mulienium and windows 2000 are diffrent

you should be if you have windows xp.if not they normally give a disc to make it compatible.
