Can someone explain to me step by step how natural gas installed to motorcycle? Because all topics here in the net is all about natural gas CAR no MOTORCYCLE…. =( please help I need for my thesis project…. Thank you very match guys… =)

my project title is REDESIGN OF A MODERN TRICYCLE POWERED BY COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS. i need to know what parts going to install in the motorcycle? 1st the CNG Tank- Pipe for tank to engine- switch for alternative fuel- and the others i don't know =D pls help..... can you provide picture link and txt thnak you =)

The tank would be too heavy, and cumbersome, and negate any savings in MPG. Now a 2 stroke fuel injected diesel motorcycle sounds a lot better. Technically speaking yes you can install a vacuum controlled fuel valve that allows controlled LPG in the intake, and it will work, same as a car, or bus, but they have room and the need for it. LPG, btw is a slow burning fuel, and will not perform in high speed engines, the flame front is too slow. This is why high performance engines need higher octane, the engine speed is so high, that you need a fast flame front, and the faster the better. there also is the problem of delivery of LPG in the size volume your considering. any tank small enough to fit a motorcycle would be prone to freezing due to its second nature as a pressure temperature gas. So yes it can be done, however the obstacles outweigh the advantages

To run on LNG requires a special tank ans well as extensive engine modification.

Not sure where you would put the LNG tank on a motorbike.
