Yes..I'm not expecting but I have pondered the issue many times..pregnancy is both beautifully miraculous and X-files'ish.

Cant say I was ever freaked out, but when I was pregnant for the first time the thought hit me that there is another being completely separate from me developing inside my body. That thought made me feel like a scene from Spaceballs where a man had a baby alien pop out from his stomach. I totally felt like there was a baby alien growing inside of me. It was kind of funny. Still, the little baby is amazing and when my baby was born the bond and love was more amazing.

Yea, I used to be freaked out by it before I became pregnant. It's weird that there's eyeballs, tongue, and possibly a penis growing inside you. Once you become pregnant though you forget all about it. You just want a happy, healthy baby.

I am 25 weeks pregnant. It doesn't freak me out at all. It's amazing how you can feel a small life inside you. I love it.

I am 7 weeks with my first, and the thought does kinda freak me out. Its just very strange to me how this all works, but I'm sure we'll get used to the idea. Congrats!

I'm 11 weeks and I've been totally freaked out. It's so weird. Not in a bad way but in the "x-files" way. I wonder what we'll think when s/he starts moving...

Worst journey: 3 good months of morning disease suitable thoughts: listening to the toddler's heartbeat, seeing the toddler on the ultrasound (and getting images to percentage with others), feeling those first kicks, observing body aspects flow over your abdomen even as the toddler is enormous adequate. The a techniques suitable journey: turning contained in the toddler and assembly the toddler for the first time!

I'm 14 weeks preggo and I can't say I was ever "freaked" out....just awe-struck. And amazed that my body could create a whole nother life

I'm not pregnant but it may help if you would refer to the "something" that's growing inside of you to "someone" growing inside of you, your son or daughter.

i'm not pregnant, but i've always been weirded out thinking that something is LIVING inside you. kind of x files-ish to me.. i dont know why...dont get me wrong, i think it IS an awesome beautiful thing. but weird to me at the same time.
