my 5 neon tetras are in a 44 gal tank and one of them wont stop running ito the other 4 but was fine yesterday it is like they are fighting What are they doing? is it normal?

It sounds like stress from being in too small of a group. Tetras need to be in groups of 6 or more or else they will get stressed.

My tetras are a bit feisty as well. Separate the rough one for a day and then see if when you put him back with the others, he does better. If he's just being cranky today, give him time to chill alone.

big tank for 5 fish. It's perfectly normal behavior

Add another tetra. If that doesn't work, remove the violent one.

if their are any other fish in the tank it could be that other fish or their fighting
