I usually have these super long ones that drift out slowly and take a minute or two to coil around the bottom of the toilet like a boa constrictor. The end usually pokes up out of the water like the head of a snake ready to strike. I think I only had your problem once when I ate a whole box of dry cereal and got bound up. Finally, after pushing and shoving and rocking back and forth on the toilet, Mr. Hanky came out with a battle cry and torpedoed into the can below me, sloshing all of the water over my behind like a tsunami. I had brown wheat, oats, and barley all over my pink little bottom and had to take a shower to get rid of the unholy stink that smelled like the bowels of hell. From now on, when I think I'm going to have one like that, I will reach around and grab it firmly, pulling it out myself, and dropping it daintily into the toilet to avoid any splashing.

What bothers me is the cold toilet seat, especially when you wake up in the middle of the night to do #1 or #2. It's kind of weird because my left butt can take the cold, but not my right butt so I always had to lean on my left all the time.

Eew - I hate that, so I put some tissue in the toliet first & it stops the water from spalshing.

Try squatting over the toilet and dropping a long bomb that should keep you dry
