Sounds like the heater coils have gone out. Unfortunately, it sounds like you may need to give in and buy a new one.

If it's the type that cirulates air this could be the problem.
These type of heaters usually use a filter on the inlet to prevent dust from entering the heater. Many people lose or stop using this filter after some time (no worry so do I).
What happens, and could be the case with yours, dust will clog gather on the components inside the heater. Dust in mass is better than any quilt. This can cause your heater to overheat, and in extreme conditions cause it to burn out components.
If you take the unit apart noting where everything goes you may find the problem.
I no longer use the filters, but I do take my space heaters apart once a year to clean them out, and they do accumulate quite a bit of dust. Removing the dust also increases air flow again.
Good luck

I know this is a couple years old but I found something that helped in this situation. My sister had two space heaters and gave me one. She'd had these for at least a few years. Mine stopped working recently and I noticed they were filled with dust including on the wires.
I turned it off and cleared away as much of the dust as possible and it's working again. Even if it's brand new see if there may be any dust and safely get rid of it. I heard they even have fan brushes you can remove dust with. I don't have one. The toothbrush approach was just a whim. Be safe.

There is obviously a problem. Space heaters these days a designed for safety. If there is a malfunction in it, that wouldn't necessarily result in it not continuing to work, they would rather it shut off all together than keep working.
If you did not fill out the warranty information, you will likely have to get another one at your cost.

You may have purchased a defective space heater. Maybe you can take it back to the store you purchased it for an exchange.

Sounds like a loose solder joint or burned out element.

It fell over and must be upright so the tilt switch does not turn it off. Or, you tripped a circuit breaker in the electrical panel.
