I'm an LSU fan and I love Saban...He'll win 7-9 games next year and go to a decent bowl...He turned a much worse LSU program around in very little time.

I have no doubt that if Nick stays there, he'll win big at Alabama but that is the big question, isn't it?...Will he stay there? Will kids want to play for a guy who has jumped from job to job, year after year?

I love Nick Saban...I just wish he had returned to college ball almost anywhere else than Alabama!

The Brain is probly a OSU or Miami fan. I think Nick Saban realized that he much rather coach college football than the NFL soon after taking the job in Miami and regretted not staying at LSU. People with good sence dont leave a job until they are sure to have somthing else to go back on. The media opens a can of worms and starts asking all these questions. This was between Nick , Alabama and Miami. He went with what makes him happy , GOOD FOR HIM, no matter what all the people like The Brain think. I'm an LSU fan 1st,SEC fan 2nd. It wiil be good for Alabama and good for Saban and also make any team that can beat him, that much better.

There is still talent at Alabama and Saban will get all he can out of them. They have a difficult schedule so I'd predict their regular season record to be 7-5. They should improve the longer he is there.

Next season is hard to say. He'll be working with Mike Shula's players, possibly trying to fit them into his system. Chances are that it will take a few years of coaching and recruiting at Nick Saban's level to bring out the best in the Tide, but you should see a distinct improvement in game-planning and effort right away.

My guess is, a minor bowl game, 3-4 losses.

He will still be working with the previous class so they will lose to Auburn. However he will have some success, alabama has talent but then again it is the state of alabama... until someone offers him more money to have a sex change. Also noted, i am not a dolphins fan unless they are playing the patriots, i am a bears and michigan fan. I just think alabama is a hellhole and Saban is a whore.

According to rivals.com bama between 2004 and 2006 the highest ranking recruiting class was 16 and lowest was 19. It seems that without top 10 classes it will take probably 3 years before he does well.

I would say next season highest expectations would be 2nd in divison and reasonable is maybe 4 or 5 losses

i am a miami fan and i think that he is a pritty decent coach but he doesnt deserve to be the highest paid college coach he coached good teams and when he came around a bad 1 like miami he walked away what i will say is if he has a bad season at alabama i will be extremly happy because he preached about being a man off his word and he said he started the job in miami and was going to finsh and he never finished he just ran away like a panzi
