Did the polar bear eat him or something?

It looks like he's been "written out" since his owner (Walt) left on the Others' boat with his dad (Michael) and the person who had been caring for him when Walt and Michael left the first time on the raft (Shannon) was killed.
I have a feeling the writers didn't know what to do with him any longer and left us to figure out something on our own.

I'm not sure if he went with Walt + Michael or not.
If he didn't, I assume they're not showing Vincent a lot because his owners are gone, as well as his now-dead caretaker Shannon. And the show is focusing on The Others now.
I think that Vincent will play a very big part in the series. Rewatch some Season 1 and 2 episodes... he always pops up at the right time, or the right place. He seems to know a lot...

His name was Vince and they still showed him from time to time thru the 2nd season. The 3rd season has focused on the Others island for the most part so I guess they're giving Vince a little break

i think he's still around, they just don't show him much since walt left, i think claire promissed to look after him,didn't she??
