I think he means what position on the field. If so he will play in the centre of midfield. He prefers playing there the most cos he will be more involved in the play, rather than just stuck out on the wing, hugging the touchline. I think he probably has it written in his LA Galaxy contract.
Los Angeles Galaxy head coach Frank Yallop echoes my comments by saying "I see him playing centrally in our league. We have to get him on the ball as much as we can, making us tick."
