I would go with what your dr's say. I am also due april 1st. They are doing your due date on the measurement of the baby not your last period, thats how they did mine too. even though you may be due the first you will most likely have the baby somewhere in the 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after.
My sister lives in FL and I live in CA. she is suppoosed to be flying in for the birth. your mom may need to be thre for a bit longer than she expected in case the baby comes early or later.......
you might ask about being induced on your due date if the baby doesnt come early. then it will be a sure thing your mom will be there.
I am being induced if he doesnt come early, my dr thinks its totally fine. some drs do and some dont. if you think you might want to do it just discuss it with your dr.

With my first son my first due date was Dec 28th, then after an Ultra sound they said it would be Jan 1st, but my little man didn't want to come out on either of those days and I ended up being induced. The point is a Due date is just a guess, no one knows exactly when your baby will be born. My best bet would be to invite your mom one week before the due date and have her stay for one week after, any later than 1 week over your due date the doctor will discuss having you induced and then you can pick a date.

Have you had an ultrasound done? they can usually get a pretty accurate due date by doing an ultrasound. I have never had a regular period, and had no clue when my LMP was. They had to do an ultrasound to even get a due date on me. There is no way to all the way tell you when your baby will arrive though. You can be due one day, and go into labor early or late. If what the docs are telling you your due date is, is based on your ultrasound, then I would go with that. Your due date can always be off by a week or two, anyways!!

Remember that a due date is only an estimate. Even if you get a definite due date (if the docs can make up their minds), it doesn't mean that the baby will be born on that day. My daughter was due on April 10th, but was born April 5th. My mother told me that I was due on December 1st, but wasn't born until December 22nd. Tell your doctor your concerns and he/she might be able to do an ultrasound to give you a better idea of how the baby is growing. Good luck and congrats on the new addition.

if your LMP was on the 9th of June that would make your due date march 16th. to get a due date you take the first day of your LMP and add nine months and 7 days. with my last child they gave me 4 due dates march 3, march 1st, February 28 and Feb 13. he was born c-section on Feb 6th weighing 8p 11oz and perfectly healthy. to say when your baby should be due could be quite a toss up. healthy babies are usually born 2 weeks early to 2 weeks late.

They can change due date on size of the baby. They tried to move my due date up, I have a big newborn. I known when I got pregnant. How sure are you when you got pregnant? You could have a small child. If you not sure, then it could be either date.

first off, i noticed your SN was militarychick. did you go to the local military hospital? because when i was enlisted, they told me about 3 different dates..and now i'm not sure when i'm supposed to be due. i know i'm supposed to believe my dr i have now. if you did go to a military hospital, just estimate between march and april. good luck. PS military hospitals aren't always the best at everything.

I think if this is your first child, it will be 2 weeks later than what those calenders show.
