The current govt. would be overthrown, and the country would be ruled by militias that would be willing to allow terrorists to train there. They would like nothing better than attack American targets.
Don't forget or ignore the fact that the vast majority of the people killed in Iraq are Iraqi's not Americans. The Sunni's, which are the minority, want control of the country back. Like they had when Saddam was in power.

Do you not remember Sept. 11th? You don't need much to attack this country anymore. Leaving now would just confirm to the middle east that the US has no backbone and can be pushed around whenever they don't agree with our policies.
