Are you talking about white racists, black racists, oriental racists, Indian, hispanic or just racists in general?
I am not a racist but I will tell you the way I have and am raising my children. One is grown and married, one is 18 and the other is 14. I have raised them to have open minds and to make their own judgements based on their own experiences and what they see out in the world. They are very intelligent young people, not easily taken in by the media and the pressure of politcal correctness. They actually know more than I do about what's going on since they are out in the world more than I. They have learned that racism goes both ways and that one race should not be judged by the actions of some. They have also learned that white people take the brunt of accusations of racism and that's unfair and untrue. They have learned that when most black people are unhappy about something they claim racism, even when it's not true. As I said, they're smart young people. They will go far.

More than likely, yes. Racist people tend to feel that they are superior to every other race, and that the other races arent worth a ****. So, usually if someone has a really racist mother, that mother is going to teach them to be racist as well, its almost like to them, they are teaching them to be christians or something. I live in the South, a region that is known for all of it, and I moved here from California, and I never really even thought racism existed until I moved here, when I went to school, in the cafeteria, one side of the room was all black, and the other was all white, and then the hispanics were all together, and no one associated with anyone of another racial background. And this is because of all the civil right **** that happened. White people taught their kids that even though there was the civil rights they were still not worth **** compared to Whites. Black people taught their kids that White people are assholes, and you should stay away from them, and so on and so fourth. So, anyways after this novel, the answer is for the most part yes

I dont beleive that most racists are truly full of hate. I think most racists strongly disagree with the effects that a particular race has on their country. I don't see a problem with quoting crime statistics to my children, then telling them that they are more likely to be robbed by a certain race. But I will never tell my child that anyone of a certain race is less than human, or that you should hate people based on their race.

Based on the premise that the racist has a reason for being a racist, why would he/she not raise his/her children to be the same.
I think it all comes down to your definition of racist.
What I hear to day is: If you do not agree with me, or do as I say, or give me what I want, you are a racist.
I think this word is over used and meaningless. "Racism" is in the eyes and mouth of the accuser.
Every time some one gets into a real tight spot, he/she plays the race card. Then, even if you legitimately disagree, you are guilty of "racism."

Racist is much overused as a word that describing everyone who doesnt conform to ethnic minority or liberal left agenda.
Opposing immigration for example doesnt mean one is racist,it means one is opposing immigration for a variety of reasons mainly economic and often cultural.
If a particular race is behaving in a stereotypical antisocial manner, then of course they will be stereotyped.
Essentially it isnt always the white persons fault that they have a negative reaction toward ethnic minorities.
Im sure racism for racism sake is very rare. However, the left and many minority groups seem to enjoy missing the point completely and labelling everyone a racist who doesnt show positive discrimination.
And that my friend ,has nothing to do with hate. The only genuine racial hatred and unwillingness I see day to day is aimed at whites.

Now that my four year old son has seen a mixed race female hit his mother in the face with a piece of wood with nails in it,and then brandish the piece of wood at him and and shout abuse at us,as an intelligent member of the human race,he will make his mind up about this subject.! I hope he doesnt become racist because of one huge walking attitude problem, because that would be a shame.

I am no racist but I get accused of it all the time, I will teach them to judge people on the content of their character and not the color of their skin, so yes they will probably get called racist too.

Children normally take on the characteristics of their families until they reach an age where they can reason for themselves. Some change to their own views, but some reamin loyal to the views they observed when they were young.
I would have to say they "follow their leaders".

That's what I did, and it worked out Okay. I laugh when I see some of the naive rubbish that gets written on here, as though the issue of race is suddenly going to disappear in one generation. In your dreams.
And I don't believe I need to apologise to ANYONE for being a white, protestant Glasgow Rangers supporter.
Neither do they, as it happens. Youy want to read your history books before bleating abour "racists".

You are entitled to teach your children anything you want. I just hope that whomever has children, does the right thing and teaches them the right things. The truth will win out in the end.
