In Glendale, there is Rafi's Place, very good Lebanese food with extremely reasonable prices. Parking is a bit awkward though. It is on Broadway just East of Maryland.
On Brand (also in Glendale) a couple blocks north of Broadway, there is Carousel. Also very good food with entertainment on the weekends.
