is there any way to test your meat at home to tell if its infected with mad cow? or are their any signs on the actaul cut of the meat to look for that could give it away? also, with mad cow does cooking the meat untill its well done provide any protection?

There is no way to test your meat at home to tell if it is infected with mad cow. The beef supply is however extremely safe and you should not worry about consuming beef that has been infected with mad cow. Also the only part of the cow affected by mad cow disease is the brain and spinal cord so as long as you aren't eating the brain, cuts off the spinal cord, and sometimes hamburger depending on what has been ground up to make it, you are more than safe.

If the cow is swearing and kicking the furniture and giving you the finger, then you can be pretty sure she's pissed off about something. But you can probably still eat her, unless she's on her period.
