I am supposed to do a Diorama for my Art Appreciation Class as our Final project. It's worth 35% of my grade and I need help with ideas. I just need suggestions, what material to use, and if there are any websites that can possibly help me. Thanks so much!

I think it would be neat to try to turn a famoust painting (which is 2d) into a 3d peice of art. It would be an interesting concept and you could really use whatever materials would give you the best look.

What about an art studio or museum. You could use a cut open box for three walls and add cardboard rectangular columns. Print little famous works of arts or make your own colorful abstracts. Make cardboard frames and hang them on your walls and columns. A penlight or too for spot lights would be a nice touch. You could even cut out people from magazines. Back with card board and pose them examining the art.

I miss art assignments!
