Blue eyeliner makes people guess whether your eyes are a dark, dark blue or dark brownas it is. But, black makes your eyes pop!

The great thing about having dark brown eyes is that there aren't many colors that don't look good with them. I personally like both colors for brown eyes. It depends on the look you're going for. Black eyeliner is a classic look, and can make dark eyes appear almost black. Blue eyeliner is a bit more playful and funky, and typically doesn't make the eyes appear darker than they are.

Dark brown eyes ...I always think dark blue looks like a teenager. If you are a teenager then it is perfectly fine. Dark brown eyes with a brown eyeliner gives a soft look to your face instead of harsh. If you have on dramatic makeup then use the black eyeliner.

I would prefer blue eyeliner cause it makes dark brown eyes appear lighter.

Either one is great on dark brown eyes! Why limit yourself to just one? Dark blue is not as dressy as black- try it when you're in your jeans or wearing colors that look good with blue. It can also brighten your eyes if they're tired or bloodshot. Black is classic and really highlights your eyes. I suggest you keep both handy as part of a "wardrobe" for your eyes.

Black is too drastic for dark brown eyes. I have them and when i got a makeup consoltation at Lancome, they reccomended browns, a light green called green buzz, and also a purple prune color. I used the green for almost a year, and now i use the prune and love itt!
