My BFs kids come over every other weekend....
My BF is of the belief that nothing of his is off limits to them, and doesn't require them to ask permission before using or touching anything that belongs to him. Fair enough with HIS stuff, but he also thinks I should feel that way about MY stuff.
I can't tell you how many times I have come home from work to find something of mine broken or missing, and he says, "Oh, the kids were messing with it" or "Oh, the kids wanted to borrow it, so I told them it would be okay" And then he never offers to replace the broken thing, and if I don't kep up with it, the borrowed item never gets returned. And as far as our bedroom is concerned, I can get out of the shower and walk into the bedroom to get dressed, and his kids are both lying all over our freshly made bed with chips and drinks, watching a movie....and they look at me like, "Yeah....so what?" Is there nothing sacred anymore????
