Yes, but at a slower speed. Depending on the amount of data you're transferring it might be noticeable. Most likely not.

Two recommendations:

2) Ensure that there is enough room around the USB input to accept the drive you're plugging in. For example on my laptop, the usb plugs are one on top of the other. Some device can't be plugged in at the same time due to the space limitations. On some older desktops, there is not much room either if the USB drive does not have a slim case (ie some are short and fat, not long and slender).

Yes. Your flash drive will work in a USB 1.0 port, but at the slower, USB 1.0 speed. (That's a slower data transfer rate.)
