i have 3 desk top computers and 2 lap tops....my lap tops can connect to my internet wireless but i want my desk tops to as well.What do I need.

1. You need to have a Wireless Access Point. As there is more than one computer, so for sharing of a broadband connection you need to have a router as well. Usually Wireless Access Point & Router come bundled into one gadget ( example: Linksys WRT54G ).
2. Connect your broadband modem to your wireless access point + router. This will create a wireless zone in your area.
3. Buy wireless lan cards for desktop PCs. You can get PCI slot as well as USB Wireless LAN cards.

you would definitely need a wireless adapter.just purchase one & run the installer disc that comes with it
