Of course the U.S. media is controlled. 100%. It is controlled by the people who own it, the regulatory Government instrumentalities, the tastes, moral views and social attitudes of the readers/viewers. You get what someone else has already decided You should see or hear about.

Controlled?!? The media is out of control! They are censored from using fowl and derogatory language. Other than that, I think it's no holds bar!

Pacifica is somewhat open, and GCN has great content but Clear Channel dominated stations spew forth pure propaganda.
The TV is totally dominated with the rare exception of C-SPAN and public access in some areas.
