Most black ppl have no historical knowledge of any slave trade.

Britains involvement in the slave trade was minimal compared with that of the their fellow africans rounding them up for sale.

Britain was the major instrument in the abolition of the slave trade globally.

There hasnt been a recognised slave trade for 200 years. No one can feel "oppressed" by it anymore.

I think maybe its something blacks like to use as a weapon of guilt and sympathy seeking against whites, possibly to justify a failure to progress.

Yes, I wouldnt have wanted to be a slave. But many whites have died in conflicts seeking freedom for all.Including blacks.Whites dont throw that in the faces of blacks who now enjoy the freedom whites died for.

That is a very insensitive question. The slave trade is a major part of our history which every black person born in the western world must be aware of to be able to understand why things are the way they are today.

The white Americans stole people from their home, their family and friends and were getting deeper and deeper in. The wisest thing to do was to moderate this so they wouldnt take everyone else by selling. They would have taken way more if they didnt.

If not for slave trade, we wouldn't be here in the first place. We woull all be living peacefully in Africa.yeah slavery is over but racism is very much alive.A black man needs to work twice as hard to succeed in the western world, and thats fact!Coupled with the uneven distribution on wealth from the beginning.

Black people do try.I understand slavery and its effects and would educate my kids as well so they would understand. Then and only then can we rise above all this...U can stick ur nose up and ask snuddy questions but it took many years to steal the black mans dignity and rob him of everything and it isnt gonna change overnight.Surely but slowly the black man will rise again and take back everything that was stolen from him.Thats something i'm sure of.

The slave trade is still alive and well today, for your information. And even in the case of the slave trade with UK and the US, it isn't all that long ago. Up to a decade or so ago there were still people alive who had been slaves or were first-generation free.
You obviously are a white person who doesn't have the emotional baggage brought with a history like this...which isn't ancient history, either. Walk a mile in someone else's shoes, you might learn something.

Why can't we talk about the history of our people without folks like you getting angry?Everyone has history but for some reason people like you want to act like the black history does not exsist and you seem to think we should never talk about it, if you feel guilt upon hearing about the past that is your problem not ours.

because of CAUSE AND EFFECT.
we are not as stupid as you, would want us to be.
we are a young culture, and we are just a little frustrated right now.

slaves in Africa, were not subjected to the abuse and disrespect
that white slave owner in America exhibited.
that's why they called whites DEVILS.
because only the DEVIL could think up such a hell for another soul
