If I tried that without a spacesuit I'd feel anything but calm. More a case of feeling my insides exploding all over the place.

I'd swim in the Sea of Tranquility just because. Swimming is one of the most freeing things in the world because you don't feel the limitations of gravity, basically like flying underwater. But taking a dive for the sake of feeling calm I think would be taking this Sea of Tranquility.

No, as it honestly doesn't sound very tranquil!

"Sea of Tranquility) is a lunar mare that sits within the Tranquillitatis basin on Earth's moon. The mare material within the basin consists of basalt in the intermediate to young age group of the Upper Imbrian epoch. The surrounding mountains are thought to be of the Lower Imbrian epoch, but the actual basin is probably Pre-Nectarian. The basin has irregular margins and lacks a defined multiple-ringed structure. The irregular topography in and near this basin results from the intersection of the Tranquillitatis, Nectaris, Crisium, Fecunditatis, and Serenitatis basins with two throughgoing rings of the Procellarum basin. Palus Somni, on the northeastern rim of the mare, is filled with the basalt that spilled over from Tranquillitatis."

No. I would die. I can't swim and I felt sea sick when I stood ankle deep in the water in Greece. I thought I was going to die then so I still would in the sea of Tranquillity!! ;)

Although swimming is a fun activity, it takes a little effort. I suppose I would prefer to take a personal floatation device in order to have the full calming affect.

sounds like a Zen riddle to me.
Actually if you could astral project yourself to the moon then you could "swim" and I'm sure it would be very calming so the answer is YES

Well, no! That is on the moon.

Might, but it would be alittle hard to get there, wouldn't it?

And wouldn't be easy to get back either! And there are no lifeguards.

And considering no gravity? Alittle hard to stay in the water and keep the suit on!

Might end up going flying instead! Kool question!

Um, I think you'd only feel CALM after you got over the panic of not being able to breathe.

Once that happens, swimming without water should be a breeze.
