I also should tell you what is so great about them. One thing is that they have a slow wake up feature, is what that means is that It doesn't come on bursting load, it slowly gets louder.
Another Reason I love mine is because the sound quality. It is magnificent.
You will enjoy it if you get it... Alarm clock or Boombox

The new ones? They should work in any iHome with a universal dock with no insert installed...

well, i would reccomend the iLive because any iPod is compatible with it. i have it and i think it's a way better deal than an iHome.
