Everytime I move an open Window on my laptop, the movment is not smooth. It jutters arounds and slows my laptop down. Any causes why. I have no virus or spyware!
I have adjusted the disply, I have a feeling it may be releated to the RAM?

If your pointing device is sluggish or refuses to move it would suggest that your system is busy. This could be due to another program using the memory and processor in the background .Some Virus scanners are prone to this.If it does not clear at all and is sluggish all the time you may be short of Ram or you have too many programs open at once all fighting for memory.Try removing some programs from Start up and get rid of anything you no longer use.

Your computer might not be fast enough. Sometimes if the computer is working excessively (high usage of CPU or constant churning of hard disk), this will also slow down the window movement. If Windows XP finds that window movement is always slow and not smooth, it will soon turn it off, so that you'll one day find that only a frame moves around while the actual window stays in the old position. If it is a momentary slowness due to reasons stated, and not usual, then the option will remain turned on. In other versions of Windows, you will have to manually turn off moving windows.

Hrm...There is a driver issue or possibly a resolution problem. Does it happen in safe mode? The jutters? If it does not then I would say that it is a driver issue...If it does then what I wold do is open the RAM cover, while the machine is off, and reseat the RAM. Cheers

If I'm interpreting the word "jutters" correctly, then it sounds to me like a video driver issue. Find and download the drivers for your video card (which may be intel or whatever), and after installing them this problem should go away.
