I have tried a few that have already been mentioned here over the past few years and I know that holding multiple pens is extremely hard and taping pens together can work but is a bit fiddly. One way is to go down the page repeating a single word (I I I I I I I I I I I I will will will will will will will etc.) so that you get the hang of writing a particular word very fast. If you become ambidextrous you will be able to writ one line underneath another and finish twice as fast. Learning is very frustrating at first, but easy enough after a bit of practice (sounds like you could find plenty of opportunity for this!). Most of all remember not to write too neatly and get into a rhythm; and remember annoying as lines are, there is the small benefit that they do honestly make good practice for exams with a lot of writing.

I used to hold 4 pens (make sure they are all the same colour) oh also that the line you have been given is only 1 line long (this doesnt work if it is - hold all four pens next to each other and wright away!

1 line = 4 lines
2 lines = 8 lines
10 lines = 40 lines etc etc

It used to work for me! :-)

Say if the line was " i am bad" you right the i all theway down the page first
for example: i
i
i
and then do the same with the am: am
am
am
and then do the rest

Its work because your repeating the same word so you start writing it faster.

OR
you don't get in trouble and then u won't have to do lines!!

When my son brought home such a writing assignment, I sent 11 pages of the following back with him to school:

Writing is a privilege not a punishment!

if it's by chalk board, use that thing that can stick four pieces of chalk on and you can write for lines at a time.
if by computer, just cut and past.
if by hand, than write it before class if the lines are set for the year. or force somebody to do it for you. if your getting in troubble so much you must be the bully of the class.

it is a punishment so you should be doing it yourself, but have you considered paying other people to do it?
