You looked at an old photo album and cried?

sunday. my firstborn daughter passed away when she was a week old, and sunday was her birthday. she would have been 3 years old now.

A few years ago. My Grandmother had Alzheimer's and Dementia. Looking at old photo albums from her past was one of the only ways to basically keep her somewhat focused on who she was...it was one of the last times I saw any shred of her essence.
So, yes. I cried.

and cried......a long time ago - but i recently looked at a photo album of me and this guy i never really got over and it made me sad - i had to stop looking

Well the last time I looked at one was about 4 months ago, and I didnt cry. I dont think I have ever cried looking at one.

a few years ago it was my great aunts and she has alezheimer's and is in a nurseing home and does not remember her family anymore and my grandmother and mother were going through her stuff and found one of her photo albums and some of her poems she had written before she lost her mind.

og... actually is was over this christmas... my grandpa pulled out some old photos from the 50's,60's and 70's of our family... i saw pics of people who have passed on that i haven't thought about in a long while... it was even more sad bc we now live 1500 miles away from all of my family and we were leaving to go home that day... it really hit me hard...

Last week. My sister recently moved to Florida and made my mother a scrapbook of childhood pictures and memorabilia. I cried, my sister cried, and my mother cried. And yes I am a man and I DO CRY!!!!

My best friend and I got together not too long ago and looked at old yearbooks. We cried, but mostly because we were laughing so hard at old memories.

Right before Thanksgiving. I've lost a lot of family members and friends over the past couple of years and I really miss them. Holidays are always hard when you've lost someone recently.

just the other day when i looked at my scrapbook i got from a friend for christmas like 2 or 3 years ago.

Every once in awhile! I get emotional when I see relatives that have passed away, or remember great times with friends or amazing vacations with my boyfriend. It's rarely "sad" crying though.
