I have been searching myspace and cant find any adult content. However I can easilly plaster my own personal space with filth. Why have porn sites that seem to take every opportunity to advertise not swamped myspace with porn?
As I am developing a site that is based on user content, I was wandering how they control adulot content.

MySpace will pull any images containing nudity. It may take tham a few days to find it, but many accounts get cancelled because of porn content. As far as "adult content" if you mean people that talk about sexual things, no real rule against it as long as it is not excessively graphic, has to do with that whole freedom of speech thing. They control content by going through and viewing profiles and following up on user complaints about it.

lots of pornstars and "adult models" have their own myspace sites, but they dont actually have any porn on them - just sexy clothed or lingerie or bikini pictures. they do, however, have links to porn websites outside of myspace

Oh yea you can get your profile cancelled that way, so watch out for what you put on there.
