From what I know Australia is a fictional land where people drink beer constantly, talk funny, and where kangaroos roam everywhere. Australia must be fictional, everyone knows that kangaroos come from Asia.

Yes.

Australia is indeed a real country. As you aluded to, it is a country that produces some very excellent beer. As for the talking funny - well different than other places on the globe. Australia is also the only country that takes up the entire continent (also called Australia).

You mentioned kangaroos: many marcupials live in what many in the northern hemisphere of our planet call " the land down under ". If you think kangaroos are interesting you will love the 'duck bill playtypus'.

I hope that helps. : ) dharp66

Yes, it is real. So many people have moved to coastal areas it's a wonder it doesn't flop over upside down. Even better fiction is teh proclaimiation of a certain religous leader who said that because White Europeans all arrived there in chains, and that members of this certain faith have migrated there of their own free will in recent years, that the White Europeans (his choice of words, not mine) have no legitimate claim to Australia. To prove the point one of them tried to make a rocket attack on their legislature or nuclear power plants, but being an "intolerant" country they put him in jail for that.

It's kind of like that whole "if a tree falls in the forest and no ones is around does it make a noise".

Sounds like a grand land doesn't it?
