How many wins would the mavericks need to secure a playoff berth?

mavs should make the playoffs no problem but to ensure it I'd say about 43-45 wins

that's the current pace of the 8th seeds in the west

I don't think you have to worry. The Mavs will be in the playoffs, but since you asked usually 40-45.
