No, I don't think so. The economy soon adjusts, even small business owners, and the people who are making minimum wage have a little more money to spend, all of which goes back into the local economy, which means more job creation over the long term. Everyone deserves to earn a wage that will support them.

I don't think the increase was enough to do much damage. The biggest damage has already been done. They have furthered the idea that it is the governments job to decide how much per hour you should be paid. I think that is a preversion of government authority, and exceeds constitutional limits.

Just like it has every other time the minimum wage has gone up....NOT!!!! How else can the worker survive in this day and age???

Only on a very small scale, and the house just passed some laws to bail them out if some small bus. do get in trouble

not so much the economy but it will hurt small business owners who are barely making it by today. The more someone makes the more they spend...

No. I don't !but I DO think it harms the people who worked hard to get to 7.25 and there pay doesn't change.That's not fair.

Yes........ it takes away slave labor. It causes me to pay more for being served lobster at the club. So yes........it hurts my economy.
