Torn inferior glenohumeral ligament (what does this ligament do?) and synovitis (i believe this is just fluid, correct?) osseous and cartilagenous (injury of the cartilage?) chronic injury of the posterior-inferior bony glenoid (this is a joint right? and chronic means it's an old injury?) trace amount of subacromial bursal fluid (is this just fluid built up from the tear?)

A ligament is the fibrous ,slightly elastic tissue which bind bone ends together thus keeping joints in place.Glenhumeral and glenoid refer to your shoulder joint.Bursa are small fluid sacks in each joint which act as shock absorbers in your joints.Your injury allowed some of that fluid to leak into the joint and can cause pain and inflammation but should eventually reabsorb on it's own.As for recovery your orthopedist should inform you of any required treatment such as surgical repair or physical therapy or rehab or prescribe analgesic or anti-inflammatory meds.I hope you heal quickly and God Bless.
