Well, that's not such a terrible problem after all. Jean sizes are much more different then they were when I was young. It seems the waist sizes are longer than the inseams these days.

Go to a big/tall store and then have them taken in. Nothing better than a good pair of good fitting jeans.

you could always just start eating a lot and fill them up...

The Buckle. I'm 6'2" with a 29" waist and that's the only place that I can find jeans. The Gap also carries some long lengths but their longest length is a 36" inseam where The Buckle carries up to a 37.5". Good luck!

I used to have that problem. Now I am Tall & Fat and have resorted to men's Levi's.
One place that I found with women's tall pants and jeans is New York & Company found at most malls. The Tall Girl store at the mall of America, I found was just expensive.
Also women's levi's do have the men's way of sizing, I used to get those at Mervyn's and they no longer exist.
Good Luck!

Have you tried catalog's. Sometimes thrift stores. They always have skinny cloths not sure about tall though. Have you tried wearing the jean that is hemmed at the knee. I am tall and that's what I do cut it and hem it. It cost about $5 at the Dry Cleaning place to have them hemmed and another $2 to have them hard starched.

I have the same problem. American Eagle (http://www.ae.com)makes jeans that are for people with long legs and you can even chose from size 00 and anything above, so im sure you can find lots there. Also try Abercrombie & Hollister.

I dont know where your at. My daughters turned me on to the "Slutty" stores. I am a size zero and couldnt find jeans to fit me anywhere either. I only buy the jeans there cos they arent really slutty but they fit PERFECTLY. Stores called RAINBOW, DISCOVERY, or DOTS might be a good place. Good luck
