She's a flame-haired country singer from the States. She did some of the soundtrack for the movie Boys on the Side with Drew Barrymore and Whoopie Goldberg. Very husky voice.

if she was 20 years younger, I would be having endless fantasies about her
she rose out of Radcliffe to play the blues, she is the best female blues guitar player and in maybe the top 3 female blues singers of all time, she writes amazing songs too
why don't we hear her on the radio more. I like her remake of the blender song a lot.
