Wow. Good question. I started to blurp out a quick answer, and I realized what you are really saying.
What I'm doing today determines the course of my tomorrow's. And if I don't like where I am in life today, then it was the mistakes of yesterday that put me here.

I would not allow my self to fall in love at such a young age and the get my heart broken. I would not let that mistake judge every guy that I date and I would try not to be so bitter about the whole thing.
