My boyfriend and I started dating when I was a freshman in college and he was one year out of college. It was a little weird at first just because we were at such different places in our lives but we've now been together for over a year and this is by far the best relationship I've ever had. So long as your 18, I'd say go for it.

I say go for it. Well if you really like him because it can work if you both want it to and this is coming from someone who has been there my fiance and I have one child together i met & started dating him when i was just 15 and he was 22 we are still together & happy. Guys just mature a lot slower than us girls do so most of us tend to be attracted to older guys it all evens out in the end. So go for it.

So... the two of you are the same age? Is he at a different school? Are you not going to school?
The problem is, is that he is in a different realm from you. I am in university, and my bf is not. It's difficult, and it requires work, because it's a completely different experience. He can't really relate to what I'm doing, and I can't for him.
A lot of people on here will go "love conquers all!" and so on... but it doesn't. You might be in for a lot of work, and you have to ask yourself now, is this worth it? Is he worth it? I know... seems extreme, but take it from one who is living it.

Yes, but be careful. Just keep it casual, till you know him much better. You might be a temporary trophie for him. Make sure he wants you for you.
