With all the people that are focused on the war in Iraq, from Bush and his cabinet to the military commanders, why can we not come up with a specific plan of action instead of just trying the same thing with more troops. It is obvious that the current plan is not working. Why are we not changing things if the current plan is not working?

Isn't it pathetic....and we are supposed to be the number one superpower with the most high tech and elite military on the planet. We are the most technically advanced country in the world. Yet when you look at the way Bush is flip flopping our good Men & Women of the U.S. Military around....it literally makes you sick to your stomach. This man is such a Moron I can't believe he hasn't been arrested and thrown in jail yet.

It's not the same thing. It is clearing out the towns where the trouble makers are and staying there. Before, we cleared them out and left and troublemakers came back. I wish we whould just bomb Anbar province in Iraq, home of Al-Queda, then Bomb Iran, then say "If anybody doesn't like it tough." Yes, bush has a plan. I get so sick of the Democratic line "He has no plan." He didn't count on being overrun by Iran.

What makes you think we aren't changing things? There is a new military team in place. Why would Bush have changed commanders if he didn't want to change strategy? I wouldn't want him to divulge such matter publicly. I don't need to know, I don't have the background necessary to evaluate the plans & I don't want our enemies to know all our plans.

IT SHOULD BE LEFT UP TO MILITARY COMMANDERS WHAT THE MILITARY STRATEGY SHOULD BE. THAT IS CHANGING CONTINUOUSLY RELATIVE TO THE THREAT. THE POLITICAL STRATEGY AFFECTS THE MILITARY AND WE SHOULD BE SHOWING A UNITED FRONT. ALL OF OUR ENEMIES READ OUR POLITICAL BICKERING AS WEAKNESS AND ARE ENCOURAGED WHEN THE PRESIDENCY IS WEAKENED BY THE OPPOSITION. HAPPENS ALL THE TIME.
THE ENEMY DOESN'T ALLOW DESCENT SO THEY DON'T HAVE THAT PROBLEM OR IT IS ELIMINATED QUICKLY.

Because they don't know what to do. They never really had a plan, and they can't admit mistakes. Even last night, Bush said that mistakes were made and he takes responsibility, but he never said he made any mistakes. The parsing sounds like, um, ha ha ha.
