Kelly Clarkson in season 1. Season 1 was by far and will always be the best. Carrie Underwood's season was awesome too but the best is definately 1.

Season 2 was the best.
Clay got absolutely robbed by Simon and should have won over Ruben. Clay is the best contestant next to Kelly Clarkson.
Season 2 also featured Josh Gracin, Trenyce and Ricky Smith who I really liked.

i think that it had the most talent

MY FAVORITE SEASON WAS SEASON 3, WHERE FANTASIA BARRINO WON. THE OTHER CONTESTANTS WERE VERY TALENTED. FOR EXAMPLE, JENNIFER HUDSON IS NOW IN DREAMGIRLS AND IS NOMINATED FOR AN OSCAR!
