Please don't say "Do your own homework" because this isn't my homework and it's not helpful. I'm just trying to understand evolution stuff and i'm having a hard enough time trying to learn about it because its not real! Thanks a bunch!

Micro evolution is generally talking about the changes in an individual (they are not changes in the genes and therefore are not inheritable traits) that benefit that creature. An example is a person who lives at sea level moves to the mountains. Their body will increase its efficiency of oxygen use so that the thinner air doesn't effect the persons ability as much. The term evolution in this situation is really misleading. Because, as stated before, this is an adaptation which is not genetically based.

Micro evolution is really just " evolution. Speciation is correct for what is ignorantly called macroevolution. Do they teach you these misnomers in social science class?
