Oh I've got many - but the most DANGEROUS ones I've heard (and people believe them) are that:
Aids is a myth and it was just a story created to stop people from having more children
and
that having sex with a virgin will cure you of aids... resulting in many babies and children being raped and killed.

In Nigeria there is one about a herd of short neck Giraffes. I swear I am not joking. There are hunters that have tried to find them for years because they would sell for a lot of money. It's really weird but funny too...

I like the one about which way the water swirls depending on which hemisphere you are in. No matter how many times it is debunked it comes back again.

I like the one about the scuba diver that was found dead in the mountains... presumably picked up by an water tanker and dropped with the water on a forest fire.

This one is my fave, although it's no stranger than the others.
It's the one about the neighbor's pet rabbit who turns up dead. In the dog's mouth. Dog owners assume dog killed bunny. Dog owners wash and dry rabbit and put it back in cage.
Neighbors return and tell dog owners about the sick freak who dug up their rabbit and put it back in the cage.
