I don't need quite a +1.00 I need less than that and I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Yeah, I have looked at the normal places, but everything is +1.00 and above.

An optician can make them for you without a prescription.

Out of curiosity, I tried looking on the web for non-prescription reading glasses with a strength under +1.00, and it seems all of them start at that level of magnification. You might try asking your local pharmacist if he knows of any that would fit the bill. Good luck.

Just about everywhere has them now (I've seen them in a grocery store). Try Walgreens, CVS, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Target or even your local convenience store.
