I have a collection of football cards that I want to sell, but I don't know if they have any value. I know they aren't they best cards or special cards. My collection does include the most active and well known football players til today. If I took pictures of my collection would anyone be able to help me out if they are at some value??? Thank You!!!

Go to a bookstore and pick up a copy of a Beckett price giude for football. Estimate the value of the collection and sell the collection on Ebay. If you certain cards that are worth alot of money, sell them individually, otherwise sell the whole lot of cards together.

I would take them to a hobby shop for an appraisal. They should be able to give you at least a rough estimate at little or no cost. You will probably have better luck selling them on ebay though... the hobby shop will only give you a portion of what it's worth, since they need to profit by selling it.

If they're all one brand of card, you can probably get a value book at a library (I know they exist for stamp collections and dolls, I'd assume they have them for cards too). Then you can look up individual cards and see what they're worth. Time consuming... but worth it in the long run. It would suck to sell the entire collection for a hundred bucks and then find out you had a card worth 10k or something!

I think that eBay is normally the best way to sell anything.

Try eBay, and put a reserve on them. That way if your reserve isn't meant, then you don't sell. Good Luck!!
